Shuttering carpenters and complete formwork gangs supplied across the UAE, experienced on panel, table and traditional timber systems.
Formwork sets the concrete finish and the pour cycle, which makes the shuttering gang one of the few trades that directly controls a tower programme. A gang that strips, cleans, moves and re-erects on cycle keeps the floor rhythm; one that does not loses days per level that never come back.
NSTC grades shuttering carpenters on the system they will actually use. Panel systems, table forms and traditional timber shuttering are not interchangeable skills, and a carpenter strong on timber can be slow on an unfamiliar proprietary panel system.
We supply formwork gangs alongside steel fixers so the rebar and shuttering trades come from one source under one supervisor, which removes the coordination gap that usually sits between two separate labour suppliers.
| Role | What the grade covers |
|---|---|
| Formwork supervisor | Runs the pour cycle across gangs, works from shop drawings, controls the strip and re-erect sequence and manages inspection. |
| Chargehand shuttering carpenter | Leads a gang, sets out from drawings, checks line, level, plumb and prop layout before the pour is signed off. |
| Shuttering carpenter (skilled) | Erects, aligns and strips formwork to slabs, beams, columns, walls and cores, working unsupervised from drawings. |
| Panel system carpenter | Specialist on proprietary panel and table form systems, including tie arrangements, brackets and lifting points. |
| Site carpenter (traditional) | Timber shuttering, bulkheads, edge forms and site-made formwork for non-standard geometry. |
| Formwork helper | Stripping, cleaning, oiling, material handling and stacking so the skilled gang stays on the erect and align cycle. |
