Plumbing manpower supply in the UAE

Plumbing on a tower or hotel programme is decided at first fix. Sleeves set in the wrong position and drainage falls set wrong become chases, rework and a testing failure that surfaces weeks later when the trades that followed are already finished.

NSTC supplies plumbing gangs with their own chargehand, assessed on setting out from drawings rather than on years claimed. The gang covers sanitary, utility, drainage and firefighting pipework, so one crew carries the discipline instead of three suppliers covering parts of it.

Where the scope includes welded carbon or stainless pipework, our certified welders and pipe fitters join the same crew rather than arriving as a separate subcontract.

How we build the crew

• Setting out is the test, covering gradients, sleeve positions and levels, because first-fix errors are the expensive ones.
• Joint method assessed practically across threaded, grooved, pressed and solvent weld as the scope requires.
• Welders join the same crew where welded pipework is in scope, rather than arriving as a separate subcontract.
• Pressure testing readiness, so the gang can present a system for test instead of chasing leaks at handover.
• Confined space and height awareness for riser, tank and plant room work.
