Steel erection is the one scope on this site we supply both ways: as manpower, where you direct the crew, and as a contracted package, where NSTC takes the scope and delivers erected steel against your drawings and method statements.

An erection crew is not one trade. It is erectors, riggers, crane slingers, bolt-up fitters and welders working as a single unit, and its productivity depends on whether those roles were assembled together or collected separately. We supply them as a crew with a named supervisor.

Our own contracting work on pipe racks, equipment supports and industrial structures means we are supplying trades we deploy ourselves, which is a different thing from an agency forwarding CVs for a scope it has never executed.

Grades and roles we supply

Role	What the grade covers
Erection supervisor	Runs the erection sequence from the drawings and method statement, controls the lift plan interface and manages the crew.
Chargehand erector	Leads an erection gang, sets out bolt-up and alignment, checks plumb and level before final torque.
Structural erector	Steel erection, bolting, alignment, plumbing and levelling of beams, columns, bracing and secondary steel.
Rigger and crane slinger	Load assessment, slinging, tag lines and signalling for lifts, working to the lift plan.
Bolt-up fitter	Assembly, torquing and tensioning of structural connections with calibrated equipment and recorded torque values.
Structural welder	Site welding of connections, stiffeners and brackets to the project WPS, following the bolt-up crew.

What we verify before deployment

Practical erection assessment covering alignment, plumbing, levelling and connection assembly before roster inclusion.
Third-party rigging certification for riggers and crane slingers, checked and recorded, with no substitution of uncertified workers.
Working at height and fall arrest competence, including anchorage selection on incomplete structures.
Valid UAE labour card and health card, plus a site safety card where the project requires one.
Torque and tensioning discipline where the connection design requires recorded values rather than visual acceptance.

Common questions

Do you supply erection crews or take the whole scope?

Both. On manpower supply you direct the crew and the scope stays yours. On a contracted erection package we work to your drawings and method statements, or develop our own for your approval, and deliver erected steel. The commercial structure and the risk allocation differ, so it is worth deciding early which you want.

Do you provide cranes and lifting equipment?

Not on manpower supply, where cranes and lifting gear are normally the client scope. On a contracted erection package we can include lifting, and we price it against the lift plan and the site access constraints.

Are your riggers certified?

Yes. Riggers and crane slingers hold third-party certification, which we supply with the profiles. We do not fill a rigger position with an uncertified worker, because the consequence of getting a lift wrong is not a quality issue.

Can you work under our method statements?

Yes, and that is the normal arrangement on client sites. Where you would prefer us to develop the method statement and lift plan for your approval, we do that instead. Either way the sequence is agreed before the crew mobilises.
