General labour supply in the UAE

General labour, trade helpers and complete labour gangs supplied across the UAE under NSTC group sponsorship, documented and ready for site induction.

General labour is where most labour supply arrangements go wrong, because it is the category buyers treat as interchangeable. It is not. A helper who understands the trade they support keeps a skilled worker productive; one who does not turns a skilled worker into a material carrier.

NSTC supplies general labour under its own group sponsorship, which means visa, labour card and payroll sit with us; accommodation, transport and food are agreed per contract. You receive an invoice for manpower rather than a set of employment obligations, and the workers on your site are documented and legally deployed.

We supply labour gangs with their own chargehand where the work needs organising, and trade-attached helpers where the value is in supporting a specific skilled trade.

Grades and roles we supply

RoleWhat the grade covers
Labour chargehandOrganises and directs a labour gang, allocates work, controls material flow and reports progress to your supervisor.
Trade helperAttached to a specific trade, whether mason, steel fixer, plumber or electrician, and familiar with how that trade works.
General labourerMaterial handling, loading and offloading, site clearance, excavation support and general site duties.
Housekeeping labourContinuous site cleaning, waste segregation and access clearance, which most programmes under-resource until an audit.
Store and yard labourMaterial receipt, storage, issue and yard organisation in stores and fabrication yards.
Loading gangDedicated crews for loading, offloading and distribution of material to work fronts.

What we verify before deployment

  • Valid UAE labour card and health card under NSTC group sponsorship, verified before any worker joins the roster.
  • Basic safety awareness, including PPE use, exclusion zones and site signage, so induction is a formality rather than a delay.
  • Manual handling competence, since handling is where the injury risk in this category actually sits.
  • Trade familiarity for helpers, matched to the trade they will support rather than allocated at random.
  • Fitness for the deployed conditions, including heat awareness and compliance with UAE midday break rules.

Common questions

Are the workers under your sponsorship?
Yes. This is the core of what we do. Workers are employed under NSTC group sponsorship, so visa, labour card and payroll sit with us; accommodation, transport and food are agreed per contract. You get an invoice for manpower and workers who stay employed and sponsored by NSTC, not by you.
Is supplied labour legal in the UAE?
Labour supply is legal when the supplying company holds the appropriate licence and the workers are properly sponsored, documented and insured by that company. That is how we operate. Engaging undocumented workers directly, or through a supplier who cannot evidence sponsorship, is where clients expose themselves.
What is the minimum period you supply labour for?
We supply on daily, weekly and monthly rates. Short mobilisations are fine, though the rate reflects the mobilisation effort. For continuous requirements a monthly rate is normally the better arrangement for both sides.
Can you supply helpers for specific trades?
Yes, and it is worth specifying. A helper who has worked with steel fixers understands the sequence and keeps the gang producing. Tell us the trade the helper supports and we match accordingly rather than sending general labour.
