NSTC fabricates stainless and carbon steel pipework from client-supplied isometrics. Spools are built in our yard and delivered to site, or fabricated in position where access or tie-in sequence makes that the sensible route. Experience covers process plant, utility, cooling water and firewater systems on UAE industrial projects.
The reason this sits alongside our manpower business rather than apart from it is that the welders on your spool were tested by the same people who run this scope. A welder joins the roster by welding a test piece, not by submitting a CV, and the qualification record travels with them.
Work starts once the scope and the isometric package are confirmed, so the material take-off, the weld count and the programme are agreed before anyone mobilises.
Specification
| Item | What we work to |
|---|
| Carbon steel | A106 and A333 in the common schedules, with other grades against your material specification |
| Stainless steel | 304 and 316 as standard, duplex on request |
| Welding processes | GTAW, SMAW and GMAW |
| Qualification | The welding procedure specification your project requires |
| Non-destructive testing | RT, UT and PT coordinated with your inspection body |
| Handover documents | Welder qualification records, weld maps and NDT reports |
What the scope includes
- Material take-off and cutting from the confirmed isometric package.
- Fit-up, welding and weld identification against the weld map.
- Welder qualification records supplied before welding starts, so your QC team can check them against the scope.
- NDT coordination for radiography, ultrasonic and penetrant testing, with reports issued against the weld map.
- Hydrotest support and punch list closure where the scope includes it.
- Site transport of finished spools within the UAE.
