Manpower under our sponsorship, not your liability

Visa, labour card and payroll sit with NSTC. Accommodation, transport and food are agreed per contract. You receive workers on site and an invoice for manpower, not a set of employment obligations.

The question that decides most UAE manpower contracts is not the day rate. It is who carries the worker. If the supplier cannot evidence that every worker on your site is sponsored, documented and insured by them, the exposure lands on you during an inspection, and the day rate stops being the relevant number.

NSTC employs its workers under group sponsorship across three licensed entities: Noor Al Shabab Technical Contracting in Sharjah, Shabab Al Najum Technical Services in Dubai and Royal Eagle Electromechanical Works in Abu Dhabi. Every worker we deploy holds a valid labour card under one of those companies.

That structure is also why we can mobilise from the emirate closest to your site, and why a worker can move between our projects without a new visa process each time.

What you receive with every deployment

  • Worker profiles before you accept, showing grade, trade test result and relevant certification.
  • Copies of labour card and health card for every worker mobilised, so your document control has them on file from day one.
  • A named crew lead as the single point of contact, rather than a call centre reference number.
  • A single monthly invoice per project, with the worker breakdown attached.
  • Replacement cover for absence, so a headcount you contracted for is a headcount you get.

Why sponsorship is the question that matters

Inspection exposure

If a worker on your site cannot produce a valid labour card from the company supplying them, the finding lands on the site, not only on the supplier. Sponsored manpower removes that category of risk entirely.

Employed and sponsored by NSTC

You are buying manpower, not hiring staff. Gratuity, end of service, repatriation and visa administration never enter your accounts or your HR workload.

Headcount without headcount risk

Scale up for a shutdown or a programme peak and scale back afterwards, without the cost and time of recruiting and then releasing permanent staff.

WPS compliant payroll

Workers are paid through the Wage Protection System by NSTC. Payment disputes, which are the most common source of labour complaints, do not become your problem.

Continuity between projects

Because workers stay employed by us between deployments, you get people who already know our standards rather than a fresh set of strangers each time.

One invoice, one counterparty

A single commercial relationship covering trades across three emirates, rather than separate suppliers and separate compliance checks in each one.

Common questions

What does manpower under sponsorship actually mean?
It means the workers on your site are employed by NSTC, not by you and not by an unnamed third party. We hold their visa and labour card, pay them through WPS, insure them, and carry their end of service obligations. You direct their work on site and pay a monthly invoice for the manpower.
Is labour supply legal in the UAE?
Yes, when the supplying company holds the appropriate licence and the workers are properly sponsored, documented and insured by that company. That is how NSTC operates across all three group entities. The risk in the market sits with suppliers who cannot evidence sponsorship, and with clients who do not ask.
Can we see the workers documents before mobilisation?
Yes, and you should ask every supplier for this. We provide labour card and health card copies with the worker profiles before mobilisation, so your document control has them on file before anyone arrives at the gate.
Who is responsible if a worker is injured on our site?
Workmen compensation insurance sits with NSTC as the employer. Site safety, induction, PPE and the safe system of work remain the site occupier responsibility, as they would for any contractor working on your premises. The split is worth confirming in the supply agreement rather than assuming.
Do you provide accommodation and transport?
Accommodation is provided by NSTC as standard. Transport to site is normally included, though on remote sites or unusual shift patterns it is worth agreeing separately, because it materially affects the rate.
How is the manpower invoiced?
One monthly invoice per project with a breakdown by worker and grade, based on the agreed rate and the attendance record. Overtime, where worked and approved, is shown separately.

Ask us for the documents

Any supplier can claim sponsorship. Ask us for labour card copies and the trade licence, and compare the answer with what you get elsewhere.
