Pipe fabrication, steel erection and protective coating

NSTC takes contracting scopes as well as supplying manpower. Where you want erected steel or tested pipework delivered rather than workers directed, this is the side of the business that does it.

Five contracting scopes, taken whole or in part

Executed under your method statements, or under ours submitted for your approval. Where a scope needs trades we already hold on roster, the crew comes from the same source rather than a chain of subcontractors.

01
SS & CS Pipes
Deployed after scope and isometric package confirmation
Replace: ss and cs pipe fabrication

SS and CS pipe fabrication

Stainless and carbon steel pipework fabricated from client-supplied isometrics, in our yard or on site. Experience across process plant, utility, cooling water and firewater systems on UAE industrial projects.

Materials
Carbon steel A106 and A333, stainless 304 and 316, duplex on request
Welding
GTAW, SMAW and GMAW to the welding procedure specification the client requires
Documentation
Welder qualification records, weld maps, NDT coordination for RT, UT and PT
02
Structural
Crew mobilised as one unit with a named supervisor
Replace: erection and structural installation

Erection and structural installation

A full erection crew of riggers, crane slingers, structural erectors, fitters and welders. Structural steel erection, equipment setting, pipe rack and tank installation, under your method statements or ours submitted for approval.

05
Electromechanical
Available through all three group companies
Replace: electromechanical installation

Electromechanical installation

Mechanical and electrical installation works across industrial and building projects: equipment installation, pipework, cable and containment, panel installation and pre-commissioning support, delivered as a scope rather than as supplied labour.

Three core industrial sectors

Replace: refinery or gas plant

Oil and Gas

Upstream and downstream: refineries, pipelines, compression stations and storage terminals, worked under permit-to-work regimes and the HSE standards UAE operators expect.

Replace: power generation plant

Power Generation

Combined and open cycle plants, substations and utility systems. Mechanical and pipe work during construction and during scheduled shutdowns.

Replace: steel or aluminium plant

Steel and Industrial

Rolling mills, smelter complexes and heavy manufacturing. High temperature and high pressure systems with tight shutdown windows where downtime is the real cost.

Contracting and manpower from one company

Most contractors buy labour from one company and scopes from another. Taking both from NSTC removes the interface where responsibility usually gets lost, and means the trades on your scope were assessed against work we execute ourselves.

See manpower supply →

Scope or labour, your choice

Take the erection as a package, or take the erectors and direct them yourself. The same crews do both.

Your method statements or ours

We work under your procedures, or develop the method statement and lift plan for your approval.

Documentation as standard

Weld maps, qualification records, NDT coordination and DFT readings, produced as the work proceeds.

ISO certified systems

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 across quality, environment and occupational safety.

Common questions

Do you take contracting scopes or only supply manpower?
Both, and they are genuinely separate offerings. On manpower supply you direct the workers and the scope stays yours. On a contracting package we take the scope and deliver against drawings and method statements. The commercial structure and the risk allocation are different, so it is worth deciding which you want before asking for a price.
Can you work under our method statements and HSE system?
Yes, and on client sites that is the normal arrangement. Where you would prefer us to produce the method statement, ITP or lift plan for your approval, we do that instead. Either way the documents are agreed before mobilisation rather than during.
What welding standards do you work to?
The welding procedure specification your project requires. Tell us the standard at enquiry stage and we will confirm whether we can meet it. Welders are qualified against the applicable procedure and we provide the qualification records. Weld maps and NDT coordination for RT, UT and PT are part of the scope on pipework contracts.
Do you have your own fabrication facility?
We fabricate in our yard and on site depending on the scope, the spool sizes and the site access. For a specific enquiry tell us the isometric package and the delivery requirement and we will confirm how it would be executed.
Which emirates do you cover for contracting work?
Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi through three licensed group companies, plus the Northern Emirates. Having a licensed entity in each main emirate matters for contracting because it determines who can hold the contract locally.

Need a quotation for a specific scope?

Send the drawings, the scope and the programme. We come back with a route to price it, or with the questions we need answered first.
